“You have definitely helped me in more ways than you might ever think. I’m not sure how to put it all into words, but I’ll try.
Probably the most significant way you’ve helped me is by being someone who has been there for me in an unwavering way. Even when I went to jail, you were the one person I wanted to contact. I told you about how I had asked someone to reach out to you on my behalf. You’re an incredibly stable and approachable person. It’s something that has lacked considerably for me in life. When you showed up at the jail…I swear it was an answered prayer. I absolutely believe that. Having that happen also brought me closer to God.
People close to me, who don’t even know you, know your name. I suppose I’ve never expressed that to you before. You’ve definitely played a significant role in my life. Recently, I hit a bit of a road block. But, I didn’t allow it to bring me back to drinking. I’ve made decisions to do things that are incredibly difficult, but I now know it’s in the benefit of my life purpose.
I honestly feel like a lot of the struggles I’ve encountered were kinda nudges from God to get me back on the right path.” – C.O.
